Terms & Conditions

It is highly recommended that potential clients read the terms and conditions below. By agreeing to work with myself, you agree to the following:

Scope of Work: High-quality videos with eye-catching colour grading, clear audio, motion graphics and subtitles (if required).

Turnaround Times: Clear timelines for delivery always stated before commencing project with client (e.g. first draft within X days and revisions within Y days).

Availability: Flexible availability: Mondays - Fridays, any unavailability will be mentioned prior to agreement.

Revisions Policy: 1 revision is included with every initial cost. Additional revisions will depend on the length of the video & how many additional revisions are required. Cost will be discussed with the client.

File Delivery: Delivered via DropBox, typically 1080P - 4K resolutions & MP4 files. Please clarify if different formats/resolutions are required.

Feedback Windows: Client should provide feedback before project is approved or paused within a timeframe that does not affect their deadline.

Rush Fees: Additional charges will be discussed with the client for expedited timelines.

Content Storage: Content will be accessible up to 60 days after completion.

Quality Standards: Expected technical and creative standards will be met with every project (e.g. appropriate audio levels, colour grading consistency platform specifications, etc).

Dependencies: Client should provide a brief for the project and the timelines for receiving them; including any of the following if required: assets, brand guidelines, music licences, software plugins/effects.

Change Requests: Scope and price changes will be discussed with the client before or during the project. Adjustments will be made if appropriate.

Payment Terms: Payment is expected within 30 days of the invoice. Late payment policy to be discussed with the client.

Confidentiality: All unreleased content is kept private via granted DropBox access, only to be accessible between myself and the client. It is the responsibility of both myself and the client to not share DropBox links/content in the folders unless verbal/written agreement has taken place.

Version Control: Project/exported video files are clearly stated with their corresponding version (VIDEO NAME v1.mp4) to avoid confusion.

Platform Optimisation: Client should specify the platform the content is to be uploaded to in order to provide the correct specifications to the video file(s).

Communication Cadence: Longer projects and long-term clients will require frequent communications (e.g. weekly check-ins).

Backup & Data Security: DropBox has a very reliable and regular backup system which allows for previous versions of files and deleted files to be accessible. All logins are protected.

Cancellation Policy: If a project is cancelled mid-way, the full cost previously agreed will be required. If a project is paused, the timeframe of the pause is to be discussed. Depending on the duration of the pause, part of the cost will be paid upfront.

Ownership & Rights: All ownership of the final video files is to the client to be used as they wish. Editing credit in the caption/description is appreciated. Clients agree that working with myself gives permission to reference them as a client on my portfolio, and are welcome to provide a review.

Third-Party Assets: It is the client’s responsibility to source required licensed music, stock footage or graphics, or at least the means for myself to obtain them (e.g. logins for stock websites).
